What kind of reptiles eat silkworms?

Salamanders, frogs, lizards, chameleons, turtles, some fish, and snakes all eat silkworms. Bearded dragons eat silkworms as they are the most nutritious reptile feeder out there. They are high in calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin B. Silkworms also have a high volume of moisture so that your pet is staying properly hydrated by eating them.

Silkworms do not bite so your pet is protected unlike other feeders that may bite you pet.  Silkworms are much safer to feed your pets and easier for them to digest, even when your reptiles are young.  They have a soft body exoskeleton unlike, say, a mealworm which is hard and difficult to digest.

Finches, quails, and parrots enjoy Silkworms in their diet. Many other birds as pets enjoy Silkworms as well. Since Silkworms have a high content of protein many fish benefit from the Silkworm in their diets also. Koi fish particularly enjoy the Silkworm. Silkworms, within a Koi fish diet help the Koi maintain a coating over its scales that helps keep it disease free.

Silkworms are a high source of Calcium, Protein, Iron, Magnesium, Sodium, and Vitamins B1, B2, and B3
